Our buildings and surrounds reflect the utterly comfortable country style of Provence. Old wooden benches and well placed tables provide ideal places to linger with a cup of coffee or glass of wine.
HEATED OUTDOOR POOL.
The pool and surrounds look out to long rows of lavender. There are plenty of deck chairs. We will provide you with fluffy towels. A barbeque by the swimming pool is for Bed and Breakfast guests.
We serve drinks and hors d'oeuvres to you by the pool or in the Folly
The Folly is placed to enjoy midday shade (a cool table for lunch overlooking the smaller olive grove). Here too you catch beautiful sunsets for evening dining.
COTTAGE SHOP
Visit the little shop...offering lavender and olive treats, local products and French linen... small gifts to take with you when you go.
PETANQUE and CROQUET
Enjoy a game of petanque on the court outside Petite Maison beside the swimming pool.
Croquet can be played on the large lawn beside the orchard and vegetable plots.
CYCLE TO WINERIES
There are 2 bicycles for use at your own leisure... The wineries of Highfield Estate, Villa Maria are within walking distance but you may prefer to bike along as there are many others within easy cycling distance - Forrest Estate, Wither Hills, Isabel Estate to name a few. Many serve fine lunches.
FOOD
You can purchase Picnic Hampers at French Fields Bed and Breakfast and enjoy our local and home-grown produce at your leisure.
The local wineries offer superb lunches to match their award winning wines.
In the evenings enjoy a platter by the Pool or cook your own barbeque.
TOURS
We offer personalised wine tours and local sights tours from French Fields. We recommend that you include a trip along the road to the nearby Omaka Heritage Aviation Museum co-developed by Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings)
